Ordering and Shipping

Ordering and shipping information for products purchased from the factory or online.


How do I place an order?

Contact the factory direct to place a custom order or a large quantity, or Visit our website and look for the green shopping cart to purchase online. green shopping cart buy online symbol  Call Customer Service 704-538-6522 ext. 201 or email [email protected].  The shopping cart feature is available for certain products. If you need to place an order with a larger quantity, Contact Specialty Lighting, or if you need to submit a Purchase Order (PO)?  Email your PO to [email protected] or fax it to 704-538-0909.  If you have discussed your order with any of our sales team members and would like them to personally handle your order, feel free to email them directly.  Be sure to include any special instructions during the order process so that we may be able to effectively assist you.


What is the current pricing?

What methods of payment do you accept?

We accept any major credit card.  Payment is required prior to shipping.  To set up an account, contact us to discuss terms and complete a credit application.


How do I set up an account?

Having an open account is not required for placing an order, but we do offer net terms for established accounts.  Call 704-538-6522 or email [email protected] to request a credit application.  All other orders can be released on pre-pay terms until an account is created.


How do I place a custom order?

Our design and manufacturing teams specialize in offering solutions to enhance projects of all sizes.  Whether lighting, USB charging, power distribution or something completely different, we are available to help.  Contact us with your idea, even if it is a sketch on a napkin, and we will be glad to assist with providing a solution that ensures the best end result for your application.  Call us at 704-538-6522 or email [email protected] to discuss solutions or obtain information regarding a quote.  *Custom products may be subject to minimum quantity requirements.


Can I cancel or change an order?

Yes, only stock items can be considered for return.  If your order has already shipped before the change or cancellation can be made, you are welcome to return the order upon receipt.  Please note, that we will not be able to issue credit until the order has been received and processed.

*This does not apply to custom or made-to-order items.  Once a quote has been approved and signed authorizing the custom specifications presented, production will begin immediately on the parts.  In the event of any issues, please call right away to discuss further options or possible change requirements, but we cannot guarantee any changes can be made at that point.  Stopping production may result in forfeiture of the deposit payment.  Also, custom or made-to-order items are non-returnable after completion.


What can I do if I have not received my order?

You should receive an email update with the tracking information after completion of the order.  Also, you can track your package online or call the respective shipping courier for details.  In the event of a lost package or a shipping error, please contact us and we will be glad to assist you.


How do I return an order?

Please call us to set up your return at 704-538-6522 and we will provide instructions.  We accept back returns on stock items as long as the returned items are in resalable condition upon receipt. This excludes custom or made-to-order items.  You will be responsible for shipping charges on returned product.  Items need to be packed securely to avoid damage in transit which may potentially result in withholding credit.  Once we receive your item(s) in resalable condition, your return will be processed within two business days.  Please notify us immediately if your order was received without the intended item(s) or included damaged or defective parts.

How will my order be shipped & delivered?

Items that are stocked in-house can usually be shipped within 2 business days.  Products which are manufactured to order are subject to a lead time.  You will receive an email update with tracking information after the order ships out.  An invoice will be emailed promptly to the billing contact on file.  In the event that parts on your order are out of stock, customer service will contact you to discuss order details and shipping options.

Large orders will default to ground service (within the Continental U.S.) unless otherwise noted.  Other shipping options will be determined when an order is placed. Also, this includes online orders.  Additional charges may apply to items that are over-sized or heavyweight, require special packaging, or require special handling by the carrier.  Freight charges will be prepaid and added to your invoice.  If you would like to charge freight to your own account, please state at the time the order is placed and provide the account number.


What are my shipping options?

We can ship any way you want.  Please call for a quote prior to placing the order.  To use your own account or preferred carrier, please state during the order process or include clear instructions on your Purchase Order if ordering by fax or email.   Online orders are automatically charged shipping and handling and will be delivered by best method.

Please note, freight charges are not included and are applied to the order as an additional charge during the checkout process.  You may call 704-538-6522 to discuss rates or other shipping options.


Will I receive a shipping confirmation?

Yes, an email confirmation that includes the order number and tracking information is sent for all orders after the order ships out.

You will receive an email acknowledgement that your order has been processed and a follow-up email with the order and tracking information after the order ships.  Online, fax, or phone orders will also receive an email confirmation after the order ships.  The email will be directed to the purchasing agent listed on the Purchase Order or to the person who places the order.  Also, you may indicate an alternate contact email address for shipping confirmation.
